As part of its Mission Andromeda release on February 25, Gong introduced Gong Enable, an AI-powered revenue enablement solution designed to close the coaching gap that persists across most sales organizations. The product directly targets a statistic from Gartner research: 65 percent of chief sales officers report that enablement functions are stretched thin, while frontline managers spend just 9 percent of their time on coaching activities.
Gong Enable includes three integrated components. AI Call Reviewer analyzes completed customer interactions and grades representatives based on the organization’s own sales methodology, not generic best practices. The system evaluates adherence to specific behaviors the company has defined as leading indicators of deal success, providing objective and consistent scoring that removes the subjectivity of manager-delivered feedback.
AI Trainer enables reps to rehearse high-stakes conversations against AI-generated simulations built from the company’s own winning call patterns. The simulations reconstruct real objections, competitive mentions, and negotiation scenarios drawn from closed-won deals within that specific organization. This addresses the persistent problem of role-play exercises that feel artificial because they lack organizational context.
Initiative Tracking connects the enablement activities directly to revenue metrics. Leaders can measure whether behaviors trained through the system appear in live customer conversations and whether those behaviors correlate with improved win rates, larger deal sizes, and faster ramp times. This closes the attribution loop that has historically made enablement investment difficult to justify.
Morningstar, cited as an early adopter, reported improved consistency and deal execution using the new tools. For revenue leaders investing in enablement, Gong Enable’s thesis is that AI can deliver personalized, methodology-specific coaching at a scale that human managers cannot, addressing the 9 percent gap without requiring additional headcount.
