Account-based marketing is becoming something AI agents execute directly rather than something a human logs into a dashboard to run, as contact-level ABM platform Influ2 opens its buyer-signal data to any AI application through a new Model Context Protocol server.
Influ2 launched an MCP server that gives AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Agentforce direct access to its contact-level buyer signals and the ability to launch, optimize, and analyze ABM programs without a human switching into a separate platform. Revenue teams can now describe who to target and how to engage them, and have their AI application build and launch the program, pull advertising performance data, and flag which accounts sales should prioritize for outreach, all from within a chat interface.
Influ2 frames the MCP server as closing the gap between insight and execution: rather than just reporting on ABM performance, the connected AI tool can launch and manage campaigns directly. The company built four core workflows into the release, covering program launch, advertising optimization, revenue-impact analysis, and sales prioritization, each designed to run from a single prompt inside whatever AI tool a rep or marketer already has open.
This matters for sales leaders because it collapses a slow handoff: marketing runs the ABM program, and sales waits for a report to learn which accounts show buying signals. An MCP connection lets a rep’s own AI tool pull that signal directly and prioritize outreach in real time instead of waiting on a reporting cycle.
The original insight: MCP adoption is quietly becoming the new integration standard for revenue software, and vendors that expose their data through it are betting sellers will increasingly work inside an AI chat window rather than inside the vendor’s own dashboard. That is the same bet CRM vendors are already making as AI agents take on more of the stack maintenance work once done by humans clicking through screens, and it lines up with why analysts are still divided on how fast that agentic adoption curve is actually moving.
