The revenue intelligence category is consolidating at a pace that would have seemed improbable two years ago. In February 2026, Gong launched Mission Andromeda, expanding its platform from conversation intelligence into enablement and account management. In December 2025, Clari and Salesloft completed their merger, and by April 2026 shipped their first integrated product linking forecasting directly to seller execution. The message from both moves is identical: point solutions for individual revenue functions are giving way to unified platforms that span the entire buyer lifecycle.

This is not incremental product evolution. It represents a fundamental bet that the companies best positioned to win in enterprise sales technology are those that control the data loop from first touch to closed deal, and can feed that unified dataset into AI models that improve with every interaction.

Gong’s Mission Andromeda: From Calls to Full Revenue OS

On February 25, 2026, Gong announced Mission Andromeda, a release that extends its Revenue AI OS into enablement and account management. The launch introduced three new products.

Gong Enable is an AI-powered revenue enablement solution with three core capabilities. AI Call Reviewer analyzes live interactions to identify coaching opportunities. AI Trainer generates simulated practice scenarios for high-stakes conversations. And Initiative Tracking connects training programs directly to revenue metrics including win rates, deal size, and ramp time.

Gong Assistant provides a conversational AI experience that allows revenue teams to ask questions about customer calls and receive context-aware answers grounded in real conversations. The company reported that Gong Assistant usage grew over 200% year over year.

Account Console and Account Boards deliver unified views for post-sales and account management teams, extending Gong’s reach beyond the initial sale into expansion and retention.

Chief Product Officer Eilon Reshef framed the strategic logic: “Revenue teams have more insights than ever before, but applying those to drive outcomes remains a challenge. With Mission Andromeda, we are extending revenue AI into more of the daily decisions teams make, from in-the-moment guidance to account management and coaching.”

The timing aligns with market pressure. According to Gartner data cited in the announcement, 65% of Chief Sales Officers report enablement functions are stretched thin, and frontline managers spend only 9% of their time coaching.

Gong’s Growth Validates the Category

In May 2026, Gong reported that its annual recurring revenue surpassed $500 million, with growth accelerating past 55% year over year for the tenth consecutive quarter. The company added more $1 million-plus customers in the last two quarters than in the previous six combined, and now serves more than 5,000 companies globally, including half of the Fortune 10.

Customer results reinforce the platform expansion thesis. Anthropic reported a 64% productivity increase and 10 additional hours per week per account executive. Uber for Business saw a 32% lift in response rates. Canva reported a 60% increase in rep capacity. Paycor achieved a 141% increase in deal wins. These are not vanity metrics; they represent measurable revenue impact at companies with sophisticated sales operations.

CEO Amit Bendov framed the decade-long arc: “We launched Gong a decade ago with a bet: AI would be bigger than cloud. The last three years have been the unlock.”

Clari and Salesloft: Forecasting Meets Execution

The Clari and Salesloft merger closed on December 3, 2025, with Steve Cox appointed as CEO. On April 14, 2026, the combined company shipped its first integrated capabilities connecting Clari’s forecasting intelligence to Salesloft’s execution layer.

The integration delivers three capabilities. First, a Forecast-to-Execution Bridge embeds Clari’s forecasting insights directly into Salesloft workflows, enabling managers and representatives to create tasks and send AI follow-up emails from Clari Forecast and Clari Inspect views. Second, Call Intelligence to Action converts AI-generated action items from Clari Copilot call recordings into tasks and follow-up emails within a single workflow. Third, unified workflow access brings Salesloft sales engagement features alongside revenue analytics, eliminating system-switching.

Perhaps most significantly, the release introduced a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that opens live revenue intelligence to any AI tool. Claude, Gemini, and Salesforce Agentforce can now operate on live Salesloft data, surfacing pipeline and interaction signals that were previously siloed. This interoperability play positions the combined platform as infrastructure rather than a closed ecosystem.

Cox stated: “The gap between insight and action is often where deals stall or slip. This release is about closing that gap.”

The Structural Logic of Consolidation

Both Gong and Clari/Salesloft are executing the same strategic playbook: own more of the revenue workflow, unify the data layer, and make AI capabilities compound across the full funnel. The logic is straightforward. AI models trained on conversation transcripts alone produce different (and less valuable) outputs than models trained on conversations plus pipeline data plus engagement signals plus win/loss outcomes.

For revenue operations leaders, this consolidation creates both opportunity and complexity. Fewer vendors mean fewer integration points and richer data models. But it also means platform lock-in decisions carry higher stakes, and the evaluation criteria shift from “which tool has the best feature” to “which platform will compound intelligence fastest across our entire revenue motion.”

The winners of this consolidation wave will be determined not by feature checklists but by the quality of their unified data layer and the speed at which their AI improves from cross-functional signals. That is the new competitive battleground in revenue technology.
