Infinitus announced FieldForce on October 7, a set of AI agents that handle the preparation, note-taking and follow-up around pharmaceutical sales calls.
What happened
Infinitus, which calls itself healthcare’s agentic communications platform, said in its release that pharma companies can deploy FieldForce for sales representatives, field reimbursement managers (FRMs), or both. The agents connect with a field team’s CRM to pull together information before a meeting, capture notes, and update systems afterward. Other agents can take inbound calls from providers around the clock to answer questions between visits.
For FRMs, the agents can answer questions about prior authorization status and claims and reimbursement. Infinitus Lens provides same-day compliance monitoring and surfaces trends such as prescribing patterns by provider or provider tier. When a provider asks a clinical or safety question outside a sales rep’s role, the sales agent hands the conversation to the company’s Medical Information team with full context.
Why it matters
The release builds its case on capacity. It cites a May 2026 Deloitte analysis finding that sales reps spend roughly two-thirds of their workday on research, product information, scheduling and administrative work. “Our pharma customers need their field teams to cover more providers while managing significant cost and productivity pressures,” said Ankit Jain, CEO and co-founder of Infinitus Systems.
Our read
The release says buyers can measure the agents through metrics such as provider coverage, interactions and cost per interaction. Those are volume and cost measures. A rep’s CRM is also both the agent’s input and its record, so the quality of what the agent writes back depends on the quality of what it reads. We covered that dependency in Duplicate CRM Records Are Now an AI Agent Problem, and the question of agents acting under their own identity in AI Sales Reps Now Get Their Own Email Address.
Any team evaluating this kind of agent should ask for an accuracy measure next to the cost measure, and ask who reviews the CRM updates the agent makes.
