CallRail used HubSpot’s Unbound 2026 conference this week to launch two features aimed at the gap between a phone call and a booked meeting. Voice Assist Scheduling lets the company’s AI voice agent check a rep’s HubSpot calendar and book a meeting directly during a live inbound call, and CallRail MCP now makes the company’s call data and conversation insights available inside HubSpot’s Agent Hub, so other AI agents running on top of HubSpot can query CallRail’s call records directly rather than through a separate integration.
Both features are launching in beta for CallRail’s existing HubSpot-connected customer base, which the company says covers more than 4,500 accounts out of the 225,000-plus businesses that use CallRail worldwide. “The gap between capturing a lead and scheduling the next step is where many small businesses lose valuable time,” said Marc Ginsberg, CEO of CallRail, announcing the launch on September 9.
The more interesting move is the second one. By publishing its call data through HubSpot’s Agent Hub via MCP instead of only building its own voice agent, CallRail is positioning itself as a data source other vendors’ AI agents read from, not just a point tool competing for a rep’s attention. That is the same bet this publication saw WRITER make with its GTM context layer earlier this week, and it fits a pattern building around HubSpot’s ecosystem specifically, where partner vendors are racing to define what agentic GTM looks like on top of one CRM’s agent infrastructure rather than building a rival platform from scratch.
