Field sales has lagged inside sales in one specific way: reps generate a constant stream of context, who they saw, what was said, why a deal is stalling, but managers have had no systematic way to see it before a quarter closes. That gap is now the target of a new wave of field execution tooling.

Map My Customers, a field sales execution platform, published its Team Transparency release on July 14, 2026, an enterprise bundle it calls the Field Performance Package. It combines three tools: Field View, which lets managers replay a rep’s day and review territory coverage; Efficiency Widgets, which connect travel and coverage metrics to business outcomes instead of raw activity counts; and Routing 2.0, a web-based route planner that builds stops from CRM activity and protects priority appointments.

The release matters because it reframes what field sales software is supposed to measure. Field sales tooling has already been shifting from dialing to predictive decisioning, and Team Transparency pushes further in that direction: instead of counting visits, it scores whether visits are converting into pipeline. Bobby Paulus, VP of Sales at Elite Anesthesia, described using the tool in place of manually clicking into every rep’s notes to understand a territory. Laura Wilson, a sales rep at Thibaut Design, said the routing tool solves a scheduling problem she previously worked around while driving between accounts.

The original insight here is not the mapping or routing, which is now table stakes across the category. It is that vendors are starting to compete on how fast unstructured field context becomes structured coaching data. The platform that turns a rep’s notes and drive time into a signal a manager can act on before the quarter closes, rather than after, is positioned to win the next contract cycle in this category.
