Highspot has invested heavily in AI-driven content surfacing tied to conversation intelligence signals, allowing the platform to recommend content based on the language of the current customer conversation. Seismic has pushed similar features through its Seismic AI initiative, focusing on personalization across email and meeting touchpoints. Showpad has emphasized integration with adjacent revenue operations tooling rather than building deep proprietary AI.

The operational reality at adopter companies is that content recommendation only solves the problem when the underlying content library is curated. One head of sales enablement at a large enterprise software company said the team spent the better part of a year aggressively pruning the content library before AI-driven recommendations began producing useful results.
