Salesforce said on November 4 that more than 185,000 people now use Agentforce Coworker, its AI teammate for employees, and listed a price of $50 per user per month.
What happened
Salesforce reports 21x growth in Coworker usage in three months. It names The Adecco Group, Fulton Bank and BACA Systems as customers expanding their rollouts. The update adds Coworker inside Microsoft Teams, connections to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and new iOS, Mac and Windows apps. Conversation History lets a user pick a job back up on another device. Scheduled tasks and a Daily Digest of top priorities arrive in December.
Salesforce’s example for sellers is a request to investigate an at-risk renewal. Coworker pulls service history and open cases, drafts the customer follow-up and coordinates the supported agents and workflows.
Why it matters
The new Skills feature turns a proven workflow into a one-line request. Salesforce says “a top rep’s renewal playbook” can become how the whole team runs renewals. James Nakashima, SVP of Product Management at Salesforce, said the aim is “one Coworker that brings the right agents together to get work done.”
The $50 option sits on a per-seat meter. We reported yesterday that half of Slack messages now come from apps and agents, and earlier that Salesforce and HubSpot let buyers cap what AI agents can spend. Coworker adds a third pricing model to the same product family.
What to watch
The release does not say how it counts a “user” against the 185,000 figure, or what the 21x usage growth is measured in. It also does not say whether the $50 covers the actions Coworker triggers in other Agentforce agents. In our reading, a RevOps lead weighing it should ask for those three definitions in writing and pilot Skills on one renewal playbook before buying seats for the team.
