Adecco Group is rolling out Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker, built on Anthropic’s Claude, to 27,000 employees across more than 40 countries, after pilots in the UK and France that the staffing giant says drove adoption within days.

The rollout is less about a new model and more about consolidation. For sales professionals and recruiters, Coworker surfaces priority prospects, drafts sales briefs, enriches prospect data, and shows lead status inside one interface, work that previously meant switching across dozens of separate systems. Ten countries representing half of Adecco’s group revenue are already running the agentic layer, and the company has logged 2.5 million agent-candidate interactions since April 2025. “The rollout of Coworker means our teams have access to a single interface that knows candidate history, client context,” said Denis Machuel, CEO of Adecco Group, adding that it “frees up our sales teams’ and recruiters to focus on what only humans can do.”

The original signal here is not the country count, it is what Adecco chose to consolidate first. Rather than building a net-new prospecting tool the way many AI SDR vendors are pitching sales teams this year, Adecco pointed the same agent at both sides of its business, sales prospecting and candidate sourcing, because the underlying task, finding the right person and their context fast, is identical in staffing and in selling. That is a preview of where “AI coworker” platforms are headed next: not a sales-specific point tool competing on model quality, but a horizontal layer that a RevOps leader will increasingly have to justify against, or integrate with, whatever the rest of the business is already running. It is the same production pattern this week’s Agentforce lead-qualification rollout at Siemens used: one well-documented workflow, wired into a single system of record, before any claim about a broader autonomous seller.
